JOB SUMMARY
We are hiring a Litigation Lawyer to join our Legal Services team.
The Legal Services team is led and managed by the Deputy Director, Legal Services. The team provides legal and professional advice on all aspects of public law relevant to Ofsted. The purpose of this role is to provide direct litigation support or commission legal services as required by Ofsted.

QUALIFICATIONS
A solicitor or barrister with a minimum of three years post qualification experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
We’ll assess you against these technical skills during the selection process:
- Significant knowledge and experience in litigation including applying public law principles via judicial review and/or statutory review.
- Experience of providing complex high calibre legal advice and guidance.
- Ability to identify legal and litigation risks and underlying causes, identifying solutions and ensure effective use of time and resource.
