Description:

We are looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant in Miami, FL! 100% on site.
$75,000-$80,000

Duties:

  • Candidates will be considered only with at least 5+ years working in a law firm as a Litigation legal assistant.
  • Strong technical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. This position requires keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight time constraints.
  • Responsible for case management of active files, including reviewing documents for accuracy, scheduling and docketing requests, compiling documents for preparation of analyses, and electronic files.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of court filing and scheduling procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and business English;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize workload, and adjust to changing priorities as needed;
  • Ability to deal effectively with candidates, attorneys’ and co-workers;
  • Ability to type at 70 words per minute;
  • Knowledge of office skills such as data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and composition of simple business letters;
  • Ability to organize time efficiently among a variety of duties;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Federal and State court electronic filing, knowledge of Imanage/FileSite, a plus.
  • 5 plus years of previous law firm experience in Litigation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize workload, and adjust to changing priorities.
