Live-in Care Assistant (Isle of Sheppey/Swale)

Weekly rate we pay £847 pw/enhanced rates for public holidays
We are Right at Home Medway, an award-winning homecare company based in the heart of the Medway Towns. We always seek to promote from within, have an excellent rate of staff retention, and are locally known to be a fun employer!

Before you apply you must already have:

• previous live-in care experience preferred (but not essential)
• previous care experience is essential (to avoid disappointment, only apply if you have any form of care experience
• full legal right to work in the UK - we do not have licence to issue CoS
• a mature character
• able to live with your clients for a period of time
• culinary skills (as you will be expected to cook a variety of meals)

• assist our Clients with their wake up and bed time routines
• meal preparation
• companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc)
• medication administration/assistance
• assisting clients living with Dementia
• personal care (minimal assistance is all that is sometimes required)
• meal preparation
• basic housekeeping
• And much more..
  Hours of availability: each of your placements will be dependent on your Client’s needs. For example, some of our Live-in CareGivers choose to work on week on and one week off, others work two or three weeks on, then take a week off.
  Location: Isle of Sheppey/Swale (however, if your placement with us comes to an end, we can redeploy you to another Right at Home office outside of the Medway Towns. We aim to keep you working as many hours as you choose.
  Those with previous care experience are welcome to apply. Due to the nature of this role, it is unsuitable for those without any previous care experience.
