JOB OVERVIEW:
The Chace People team is seeking a meticulous and experienced Private Head Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping operations of a private estate in Monaco. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end housekeeping, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a team. The Head Housekeeper will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation are maintained throughout the property.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in high-end private housekeeping.
- Proficiency in both French and English.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and prioritising abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
This is a full-time position with flexibility required to work overtime including weekends and holidays as needed. As Head Housekeeper you may also be required to travel between properties if necessary.

Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training to maintain high standards.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.
Housekeeping Operations:
- Oversee all housekeeping activities to ensure the estate is immaculately maintained.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas of the property are regularly serviced.
- Inspect the property regularly to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
Inventory and Supplies:
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping items.
- Ensure timely ordering and restocking of supplies to prevent shortages.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory and expenses.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas of the estate to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld.
- Address any deficiencies promptly and implement corrective measures.
- Develop and update housekeeping protocols and checklists.
Client Interaction:
- Liaise with the estate owner and the Estate Manager to understand specific housekeeping requirements and preferences.
- Respond to any special requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of the estate and its residents at all times.
Maintenance Coordination:
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to report and address any maintenance or repair needs.
- Ensure that all appliances and household systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Budget Management:
- Assist in the development and management of the housekeeping budget.
- Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
