About Our Team
TikTok LIVE UX team is responsible for the product design of the TikTok LIVE. Our primary areas of ownership include core structure, revenue, e-commerce and game features and payment functionalities in TikTok LIVE. By utilizing professional design methods and practices, our team aims to enhance the user experience and improve the efficiency of these products and areas.
TikTok LIVE UX team is looking for a product designer to help users better experience the payment transaction within TikTok app.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Internship experience on designing UX for consumer-facing products across multiple platforms(mobile, web & desktop), preferably in the content creation or consumption space;
  • Strong in visual design, interaction design, and regularly execute prototypes using tools like Principle, Framer, or AE to rapidly test and iterate complex interactions and experiences;
  • Great communication skills to be able to articulate your concepts, vision and decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts;
  • Experience with A/B testing and a data driven practice;
  • Results oriented and resilient. Ability to fits within a startup culture which celebrates efficiency and driving impact;
  • Knowledge of working with Figma, Principal, Adobe Creative Suite, and OSX, iOS & Android;
  • A passion and enthusiasm for TikTok and its community

Responsibilities:

  • Design for TikTok, the creative short video platform that targets global users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, researchers, UX writers, and engineers.
  • Participate in every aspect of the product development process, from generating ideas to refining pixel-perfect designs before launch.
  • Rapidly prototype conceptual product ideas, design user flows based on data analysis and user research, gather feedback from various stakeholders, iterate on designs, and deliver products with the best user experience.
  • Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
