Living Learning Communities (LLC) at Towson University are collaborations between Housing and Residence Life and other academic and student affairs departments to create residential communities where students can live with peers with a common academic interest, engage with faculty and staff in a smaller setting, and integrate learning outside of the classroom. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Residential Education, the LLC Coordinator is primarily responsible for collaborating with campus partners to develop, maintain, evaluate, and assess Living Learning Communities. Additionally, the LLC Coordinator will collaborate with the Assistant Director to recruit, train, and supervise LLC student staff and participate in the marketing of LLCs to prospective students.
The LLC Coordinator will work with many stakeholders, including students, faculty, and professional staff to promote collaboration in LLCs. The successful candidate should have strong administrative skills, a desire to connect with students, a professional attitude to work with faculty and staff, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 1 year experience.
- A demonstrated commitment and sensitivity to working with students, faculty, and staff to build diverse, inclusive, welcoming, and multicultural communities, which facilitate positive outcomes. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required. Initiative to plan and implement new learning communities working with committee and campus partners
Responsibilities:
- Serve on HRL’s Housing Operations Committee.
- Serve on HRL’s Residence Life Operations Committee.
- Serve on the TU Votes Coalition.
- Serve on the High Impact Practices Community of Practice.
- Help during HRL’s large scale events, such as opening and closing.

Salary and Benefits
Salary starting at $50k, salary commensurate on experience, and full University benefits that include 22 days of annual leave, up to 15 holidays, personal and sick days; excellent health, life, and retirement plans; and tuition remission.
