About the role:
The Loader is responsible for loading / unloading freight between the Dockway, and the truck in a safe way whilst ensuring the quality and security of the products. The Loader is responsible for delivering and picking up customer’s product in a safe way and ensuring the quality and security of the products within a designated area.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading goods onto trucks
- They may need to sort and organize products within the warehouse to facilitate efficient loading procedures.
- loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries,
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse and onto trucks.
- Responsible for sweeping floors, disposing of packaging materials, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the warehouse.
- They need to communicate with truck drivers and other warehouse staff to coordinate loading activities, report any issues or delays and ensure smooth operations.
