Description:

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Mortgage Loan Processor to join their team.
Position Summary: The Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for managing and processing mortgage loan applications from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under deadlines. The ideal candidate is well-versed in mortgage loan documentation, compliance standards, and customer service best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Process mortgage loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate. Review and verify borrower information, including income, employment, credit, and other relevant financial data. Communicate effectively with borrowers, underwriters, and loan officers to gather necessary documents and resolve any discrepancies. Order and review appraisals, credit reports, and title insurance as required. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local mortgage regulations. Maintain accurate records in the loan processing system and update clients on the status of their loan. Coordinate closing activities, including the preparation of final loan documents and review of settlement statements.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus. 2+ years of experience in mortgage processing, loan administration, or a related field. Knowledge of current mortgage industry regulations and requirements. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in mortgage processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
