Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY

  • In the role of (senior) consultant, you will be responsible for quality of our outputs, setting up standards and processes for credit approval and monitoring
  • As a more junior colleague, you will learn about writing credit analyses, how to assess loans from credit risk perspective (expected loss), credit quality of guarantor and incorporate information about various collaterals into the complex picture of the client. You will learn what “covenant” is, how to set up “terms & conditions”, what are “extension conditions” and much more
  • You will work for diverse set of clients in various sectors and industries and countries, but you will also be able to work in more stable environments for longer time
  • The work is structured, consistent and reliable. It is about mastering routine tasks effectively, attention to detail, quick independent judgement and critical thinking

Responsibilities:

  • Educational background in banking, mathematics, econometrics or statistics
  • For a junior role, minimum 2 years of experience with either loan approval or monitoring in the segments of Corporates or SMEs, ideally in the banking sector
  • For a senior role, minimum 5 years of experience with either loan approval or monitoring in the corporate segment in the banking sector
  • Ability to actively and independently search for required data and formulate independent judgement on problems and prepare structured and easy to read and understand outputs
  • You feel comfortable to stand in front of clients and defend your views
  • High sense of accountability, ownership and responsibility for your outputs and your work
  • Comfortable using English as a main working language (German language knowledge would be a great benefit to our team; Czech language is an advantage, but not required)
