LOAN OFFICER - ROLE

The primary purpose of this Loan Officer position is to assist Beacon Credit Union to live out our mission, “Dedicated to Our Member’s Financial Success,” by delivering outstanding service to both internal and external members. A key component of this service delivery is to identify the financial needs of each member and recommend an appropriate Credit Union solution. In addition the Lending Specialist processes, and closes consumer loan applications received by the organization that are approved by the Centralized Lending Department.. This position screens consumer application packages to determine all documentation requested by the Centralized Lending Department is gathered. The Consumer Loan Officer will understand the principles of the five C’s of credit coupled with Beacon CU’s policies and procedures. Meets and exceeds monthly sales and loan goals. Knowledgeable and Understands Beacon CU’s products and services when offering/opening accounts. Ensures Beacon’s mission statement and service standards are met with every member every time. Understands how to apply the Mike Neill techniques to achieve success.
