Our client is seeking a meticulous Loan Operations Officer to join their esteemed banking team in Singapore. The Loan Operations Officer will be responsible for managing and supervising corporate loan operations, ensuring seamless execution of loan drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, prepayments, redemptions, interest payments/collections, and re-pricing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 1 year OR Internship experience in loan operations within a banking environment.
• Familiarity with Singapore banking regulations and guidelines pertaining to loan operations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of corporate loan operations, including the monitoring and execution of loan drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, prepayments, redemptions, and interest payments/collections.
• Verify payment orders for loan disbursements and repayments, ensuring they are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
• Ensure precise and prompt entry postings for loan transactions, maintaining data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Relationship Managers, Credit Risk Management, and Treasury to facilitate smooth loan operations and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain comprehensive records of loan transactions and activities, ensuring they are up-to-date and readily accessible for audits and reporting purposes.
• Implement and adhere to established procedures and controls to mitigate operational risks and ensure regulatory compliance in loan operations.
