Description:

ING is a family friendly and flexible organisation, offering a hybrid working pattern. Front Office Loan Sales are required to be office based 4 days per week.
Department Overview:
The Loan Sales Team is ING’s face to the market for all transactions where loans and loan-based products are distributed to the wider investor community. Types of transactions include primary loan syndications, secondary loan sales, the establishment of partnerships with investors and securitisations that support our sector and lending origination efforts.
As a team we are responsible for a unified and integrated investor coverage at up to CIO level, managing the relationship and loan sales transaction towards investors. Success is defined by the number of well executed transactions we complete and by the quality of market insight we an share with our stakeholders.

Skills / Experience

  • 5-6 years of experience working with loan products in a wholesale banking setting
  • Sound knowledge of primary and secondary markets
  • Established investor relationships across both bank and institutional market
  • Additional language
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Pro-actively manage investor relationships
  • Transform primary deals, secondary loans available for sale and structured distribution opportunities
  • Origination process - provide market colour and intelligence on potential loan distribution and pricing of assets
  • Attend investor client, market and industry events
  • Pro-actively collaborate with our Lian Distribution Group partners sharing loan market expertise and intelligence on investor appetite
  • Close cooperation with the local FI Sector coverage and FM FI Sales team to ensure a growing ING share of wallet by leveraging cross-functional relationships.
