Description:
Job Purpose:
As a Localization Lead, you will coordinate translation projects for our clients, ensuring efficient and high-quality results. In this role, you will work closely with various teams, manage vendor relationships, assign tasks, address challenges, and prepare detailed reports. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to apply your IT knowledge, explore localization technologies, and enhance your project management expertise.
About the Strategic Content Solutions (SCS)
The Strategic Content Solutions, part of RWS’s Language Services division, works closely with major accounts and clients of all sizes who are going global with specialized localization services. These services cover the entire localization spectrum, from translating content, media, and audio to creating engaging eLearning programs and transcribing highly impactful marketing campaigns. The SCS works closely with RWS’s Language eXperience Delivery (LXD) platform, which includes 2,000 in-house linguists, and a network of more than 29,000 translators, who use RWS’s proprietary machine translation, AI, and translation productivity tools, to deliver a 24/7 service to clients.
Job Overview:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Partial knowledge of object oriented programming (C#, Java), scripting (VBA, JS, …) would be an advantage
- Ability to think outside the box and creatively combine available options in novel ways
- Analytical thinking
- Knowledge of Windows, MS Office (Excel), HTML / XML
- Advanced knowledge of English (C1 preferably) - spoken and written form
- Ability to present your innovations to the customer
- Automotive knowledge (preferably car electronics) would be an advantage
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Ability to come up with innovative solutions to make your own work easier
- Very good communication skills and teamwork spirit

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technical execution of the localization process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with external translators and address technical issues in collaboration with clients through written and verbal communication in English.
- Identify and implement process optimization opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of automation solutions to minimize manual tasks.
- Manage time and priorities effectively, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
