ENTER THE GAME
Betclic is seeking a Localization Manager to join our dynamic and innovative team, working under the supervision of the CX Content manager. In this role, you will be responsible for localizing and adapting our digital content to suit the Portuguese market. You will ensure that all translations are not only linguistically accurate but also culturally relevant, maintaining consistency with our Brand values, Product identity and global content strategy.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, product owners, product designers and local marketing team to deliver an exceptional user experience for Portuguese-speaking users.
Responsibilities:
In this context, your duties are:
- Translation and content adaptation: translate and adapt content from English to Portuguese, ensuring high linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance while maintaining standardization according to group guidelines.
- Local documentation: create and maintain glossaries and detailed style guides specific to the Portuguese market based on thorough cultural research.
- Cross-functionnal collaboration: work closely with the CX team, Product team and local marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging and product positioning in Portugal.
- Cultural relevance maintenance: ensure that all localized content is culturally appropriate and resonates with the Portuguese audience.
- Process management : implement quality control and collaboration processes to verify both the linguistic accuracy and functional adaptation of localized content.
- Tools knowledge: utilize translation management systems (TMS) like Phrase to manage and track localization projects efficiently.
- Content validation: test and validate localized content within the application to ensure accuracy, functionality, and best-in-class user experience.
