Description:

Position Overview:
As a Localization Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing localization projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and adapting to evolving tools and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Translation/Localization Project Management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities, with the capability to convey the localization lifecycle to clients.
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proven expertise in project planning, resource management, and risk management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective team player in a multi-language and multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client projects, jobs, and quotations to determine requirements.
  • Develop and implement project plans and workflows; manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and quality control.
  • Create and monitor localization project budgets; conduct cost tracking, ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and invoices, and approve work reports.
  • Identify, address, and resolve localization issues or discrepancies within systems or products; implement corrective and preventative measures.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, forecasts, and team status to clients, corporate office, and peers; escalate issues as necessary and evaluate required support.
  • Actively participate in corporate management meetings; provide relevant data and project information.
  • Stay current with localization trends and best practices through continuous education and training opportunities.
