Job Description
We are looking for team players who are enthusiastic, reliable, happy to get “stuck in” and see a job through from start to finish. We can’t stress it enough, our customers are committed to us, so we need team members who are reliable and committed to them everyday!
This is a Fixed Term position working in our Inwards Locals team, where we need key players to be part of the initial process of getting our inwards stock in and receipted.This is a diverse role that will see you working across multiple touch points.

This role requires someone with a good degree of accuracy and the ability to problem solve to keep up with our fast-paced environment. This busy role will offer you a variety of tasks, including:

  • Unpacking cartons from 1kg - 30kgs
  • Sorting by barcodes
  • Using a RF gun
  • Assisting with closing / labelling and distributing stock
  • Operate pallet jack/knife/strap machines.
  • Bulk picking and managing stock
  • Responding to changing needs and being able to adapt when needed

This is a fixed term position until the end of January 2025
Pay rate – $28.40 per hour
40hours a week Monday to Friday – 6:30am - 3:00pm OR 7:30am - 4:00pm
This role is to support our Peak Period through to January 2025. As it is our busiest time of the year, we are unable to approve any extended leave across this time including around Christmas and New Years (Please note, we do not work public holidays).
Qualifications

This role will suit anyone who is:

  • Physically fit and able
  • Comfortable lifting, bending while being on their feet all day
  • Has a good level of problem solving and time management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Distribution/Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
