Description:
The Locates Coordinator/ Operations Support assists the Project Manager and Project Coordinators in the planning, execution, and finalization of locating various utilities for construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget and timelines. This includes airing resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party locating companies in order to deliver the locates according to plan.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- 1-3 years of experience as a locates coordinator, or relevant role.
- Post-secondary education in related field.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and office management software (ERP etc.)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail and high level of thoroughness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Secure utility locates and map excavation locations.
- Analyze on site request forms.
- Maintain quality control documents and drawings while complying with company and client standards.
- Prepare credential packages in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback and support information to the internal development team.
- Help develop and deliver progress reports.
- Help build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Follow established practices for project completion.
- Track project milestone and deliverables.
- Maintain constant communication with project coordinators on the stage of the utility lo
- cate.
- Be a strong brand ambassador when working with the locate companies to ensure continues success.
- Device/ software training and implementation support.
- General software management support.
- Assisting with data entry and data gathering endeavors.
- Comply with all company health and safety practices and procedures.
