Description:

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

  1. Addressing media requests
  2. Proactively keeping abreast of developments and new initiatives by the subsidiaries of the Foundation to identify and publicise newsworthy developments
  3. Pitching stories, setting up interviews and negotiating media angles
  4. Organising news conferences, media events and media reception as and when required
  5. Monitoring and archiving relevant media mentions
  6. Writing of press release, media invitation, speech of spokesperson in English
  7. Content Editor for E-newsletter, LinkedIn content and Annual Report

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Possess at least a diploma in mass communications, journalism, translation editing or related discipline. Prefer to have 3 year relevant working experience
  2. Strong command of written and spoken English, with at least basic spoken Mandarin (Need to liaise Chinese Associate)
  3. Possess good situational judgement and critical thinking skills
  4. Proactive and meticulous; able to work well independently and in a team
  5. Have an interest or passion in working for an NGO or a VWO

  6. 3 working day (flexi working arrangement), may require to work on weekends for media reception, allow time-off in lieu
