Description:
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Addressing media requests
- Proactively keeping abreast of developments and new initiatives by the subsidiaries of the Foundation to identify and publicise newsworthy developments
- Pitching stories, setting up interviews and negotiating media angles
- Organising news conferences, media events and media reception as and when required
- Monitoring and archiving relevant media mentions
- Writing of press release, media invitation, speech of spokesperson in English
- Content Editor for E-newsletter, LinkedIn content and Annual Report
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess at least a diploma in mass communications, journalism, translation editing or related discipline. Prefer to have 3 year relevant working experience
- Strong command of written and spoken English, with at least basic spoken Mandarin (Need to liaise Chinese Associate)
- Possess good situational judgement and critical thinking skills
- Proactive and meticulous; able to work well independently and in a team
Have an interest or passion in working for an NGO or a VWO
3 working day (flexi working arrangement), may require to work on weekends for media reception, allow time-off in lieu
