Locum Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

at  York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and forward-thinking Maxillofacial surgeons to these posts, who will work well within the team to continue to develop several leading regional services. Candidates will contribute to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on-call rota covering a diverse area of North Yorkshire on a 1:7 basis. This is set out in a 7-day pattern with Friday morning handover. The department and Trust both offer a welcoming and dynamic working environment, with opportunities to participate in teaching medical students from the Hull York Medical School (HYMS).
Research opportunities are encouraged. Candidates must have full GMC Registration and sufficient experience in the specialty to work independently in clinic and theatre while a familiarity with issues of service organisation and development would be particularly advantageous
