Locum Consultant Oral Surgeon

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Oral Surgeon to join our Head and Neck team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are a busy unit with strong collaborative working relationships with ENT, Oncology and Dermatology. This is a fantastic opportunity to help the delivery of Oral &Surgery service to patients of Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. This is a full time post to provide 12 month maternity leave cover.

• Undertaking outpatient clinics at both Gloucester and Cheltenham Hospitals with a main base at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital
• Undertaking operating lists
• To provide effective leadership to all staff engaged in the specialty
• To sustain and develop teaching and research wherever appropriate
• Having excellent team-working skills with the abilities and professional attitude to work well in a multi-professional team
• To deliver clinical and quality targets agreed both nationally and locally with clinical teams and commissioners
• To follow patients throughout their clinical pathways
