Description:
We are inviting applications for a Consultant Paediatrician with interest in Allergy to join our team at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley. The role will be fixed term for 12 months (8PAs).
The appointed consultant will continue to work with the acute paediatric team, to transform how primary care, community services and secondary care paediatric services work together.
The role will include general paediatric and allergy clinics at PRUH, in-reach clinics within Child Health Hubs, MDT triage, general paediatric Consultant of the Week (COW) on-call (1:16). On-site evening duties until 21:30 and off site night on-call duties.

This is a 12 months fixed term Consultant post. The remit of the postholder will be to work within the multi–disciplinary team providing and further developing care for Children at PRUH, and to provide and develop Paediatric services within Bromley ICS. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the Care Group while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff.
Major areas of development in the Trust include the SE London Child Health Hub model and the local B-CHIP model. It is envisaged that the appointee will contribute to the development and delivery of all aspects of these services.
We serve the London Borough of Bromley in South East London, which has an increasingly diverse population. Bromley is the largest London Borough with the greatest number of children. We are working closely with our Denmark Hill colleagues to improve clinical pathways for babies and children between the two sites and also to improve our own continuing professional development
