Description:

We are seeking to appoint 1 full-time Locum Consultant Body Radiologist for 6 months at Nottingham University Hospitals. This post is to cover paternity leave.
Full-time position for a Locum Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary radiology for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to join our friendly team and support the ongoing expansion of radiology services, in particular within Abdominal imaging.
The appointee is expected to be proficient in reporting elective and emergency CT, US and MRI examinations of the thorax and abdomen, whilst also participating in MDTs in line with areas of subspecialty interest. The successful applicant would be required to take part in an on-call rota, either the body interventional arm (presently 1 in 8), or diagnostic arm (presently 1 in 12).

Candidates must hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or an equivalent qualification and must either be on the Specialist Register, or in possession of a CCT at the time of taking up the appointment. However the department is delighted to entertain expressions of interest from individuals who will be within 6 months of attaining CCT at the time of interview (anticipated in March) or have reasonable prospects of getting a CESR within 1 year.
The post will be primarily located at the Queen’s Medical Centre campu
