Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you a naturally friendly person with a helpful personality? Sugarbush Resort is seeking individuals with a strong eye for guest service and hospitality to become Front Desk Agents for the Sugar Lodge. Hiring Part-time year-round Saturday and Sunday 8am-2pm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience at a hotel/front desk is preferred, but we are also prepared to train the right candidate.
- A professional personality is essential to this important service role.
- Front Desk Agents must be able to maintain a friendly, responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable attitude while juggling many demands and sometimes difficult guests.
- Availability for a flexible workweek (including holidays and weekends) is necessary for the position.
- General computer knowledge and experience with cashier/customer service is preferred while previous use of SMS or other reservations systems is a plus.
- Timely and reliable attendance is essential.
- Written, spoken and reading proficiency in the English language.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime during busy periods.
- Requires repetitive data entry and long periods of standing, with occasional lifting of luggage up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities:
- Duties include greeting guests, answering phones, checking guests in/out, providing information about the resort and the Mad River Valley.
- Process charges in selling resort products/services, responding to guest needs, balancing guest accounts, and working with the resort’s information systems.
- As a primary point of guest service contact, tasks will be performed in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Agents ensure positive, accurate, prompt, and courteous service while putting the guest’s interests first.
- Print lift tickets for groups and guests during winter season
