Logistic Coordinator

We are looking for Logistic Coordinators for the Country Logistics Finland organization.
Your location will be Oulu Mill or Imatra Mill, and you will be working in the Packaging Materials Division and report to Team Leader, Country Logistics. We are working in hybrid mode.
As a Logistic Coordinator your key tasks will include:
Collaborating with Mills, Customer Fulfillment, Logistics Sourcing, Master Planning, Customs and other stakeholders to ensure delivery-on-time, cost efficiency, and excellent communication.

Supplier management:

• Monitoring closely carriers’ reporting and performance (i.e. POD/OTD) and drive continuous improvement with them in a collaborative way to improve delivery-on-time, their proactive communication.
• Pro-actively collaborate with sourcing regarding supplier selections & escalation issues.

Daily operations responsibilities are:

• Making transport bookings with different transportation modes.
• Proactively identifying and managing deviations, e.g. mitigating delays, and proactively making sure all stakeholders are informed about delays.
• Contribute to the development of contingency plans, e.g. how to reroute goods in case of delays or logistics disruptions.
• Managing complex cases and problem solving.
• Monitoring e-Customs clearance, solving errors, applying cancellation and amendments requests.
• Terminal stock level control, follow up and reporting.
• Using different IT tools in an efficient way
• Driving efficiency improvements, e.g. by increasing automation.

Who are we looking for?
We expect you to have more than 5 years’ working experience in relevant fields, especially in Logistics; road- and multimodal transportation and customs clearance processes. You will work fluently with LSC, Transporeon, Fenix, MIC and Microsoft office tools in your daily tasks. You are able to provide and utilize data related to logistics for decision making and development. You have an analytical mindset and willingness to proactively provide solutions and identify development opportunities.
You can manage your responsibility area and understand your role in the logistic chain and in the whole supply chain process. Service-mindedness and pro-activeness are keywords that describe you. You always listen and hear people out and with your great problem-solving skills you see changes as new possibilities.
You can work independently but are still a strong team player who can keep calm and be on top of the needed things even in stressful situations. You have a good ability to prioritize and can handle several cases at the same time. You are able to make decisions even when the information is incomplete, and time is limited
Fluent written and spoken English is required, also fluent Finnish. Other language skills are an advantage.
