We are looking for a full-time, permanent Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin or Erlangen (hybrid working model).

YOUR SKILLS

  • +5-year subject matter experience in logistics, experience in project logistics is a plus
  • Experience in the field of dangerous goods handling and shipping
  • Experience and working knowledge in the EMEA logistics market
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests, as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying quality solutions
  • Deal with volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity
  • Enjoy working in an international, fast-pace and dynamic environment
  • Communicate fluently in English and business fluent in German

Responsibilities:

  • Execute just-in-time logistics of materials and equipment across suppliers, manufacturing locations and project sites.
  • Plan, execute and monitor shipping activities to comply with on-time delivery and financial metrics
  • Coordinate customs clearance processes across the many parties involved
  • Utilize required planning and forecasting tools to simplify overall logistics processes, and to communicate with Logistics Service providers
  • Contribute with other Fluence teams as regional subject matter expert for operational logistics best practices
  • Work cross-functionally across Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and other teams to deliver on Fluence strategy in a deliberate way that maximizes the customer outcomes.
  • Engage, drive, and support projects related to cost out, logistics process improvements, and other business initiatives
  • Execute logistics processes for the shipping of dangerous goods, incl. safety and quality in liaison with carriers and forwarders.
  • Support regional warehousing strategy
