As a Logistics Technician - Inventory with Pomerleau’s logistics team, your primary mandate will be to manage the complete inventory for one or more large-scale building and infrastructure construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will have the opportunity to work in collaboration with several logistics and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Act as technical lead for the complete inventory management cycle;Master the ERP system and become the “Super User” for the inventory management module;
  • Analyze and code products that are not part of our product line;
  • Create inventory items in the database;
  • Maintain all selling and cost prices in our ERP system;
  • Set up and maintain our online catalog for all consumable inventory;
  • Set up an inventory for our mechanical operations;
  • Actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of bar codes at the warehouse and follow up on them;
  • Supervise and actively participate in special projects related to the catalog;
  • Keep track of all changes in product management;
  • Participate in the improvement of our practices and in the development of communication tools to improve our relations with our internal customers;
  • Produce various reports as requested;
  • Coordinate annual inventory taking and ERP updates.

THIS ROLE COULD BE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • Formation en gestion des stocks et inventaire
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience pertinente dans un poste similaire;
  • Connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office;
  • Capacité à maitriser rapidement l’utilisation de nouveaux logiciels;
  • Un niveau d’anglais avancé (oral et écrit);
