SUMMARY:
Be the liaison between logistics and RbA (business team, manufacturing, plant supply chain, product development, etc.). Represent logistics on RbA projects, support RbA plants and partner with logistics centers. This role is highly cross functional, working with leaders across logistics RbA manufacturing, RbA business, IT, and other areas. In addition, you may be involved in other projects supporting logistics growth.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
Able to write advanced analytical reports
Able to lead and participate in cross functional projects
Strong technical skills and understanding of supply chain and logistics
Self-starter who can develop relationships to drive improvements
Able to work in an ambiguous environment where data analysis may help determine the next improvement to tackle
Ability to resolve conflict between different functions and their unique goals
This position requires up to 25% travel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for extended period in an office setting
Ability to be on your feet for extended period in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience
Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems
Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining and data reporting
Proficient utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement, including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking and waste elimination
Engages with others in a way that can be developed into ongoing working relationships
Seeks to understand customer needs in detail and how to satisfy them
Willingly accepts assignments that will expand his/her capabilities
Seeks opportunities to learn from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization
Represent Logistics on RbA initiatives to collaborate cross-functionally
Drive improvement and develop strategic plans for RbA inventory at Logistics centers
Partner with manufacturing to proactively analyst RbA growth and understand how logistics supports the volume
Lead and participate in cross-functional projects to improve quality, improve customer experience and reduce cost
Optimize the enterprise end to end flow
Understand RbA Supply Chain and build strong partnerships with that team
