Description:

In this role you will be the link between the delivery network and Starbucks. You will contribute to Starbucks’ success by ensuring that logistics processes and systems are stable, allowing the proper order execution and the performance of the logistics providers to meet their agreed SLAs. You will also focus on operational performance, inventory control and customer service in close collaboration with service providers and internal stakeholders

The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working as a Logistics Analyst, you’ll get involved in:

  • Ensure systems, processes and execution are in place to continually analyze and evaluate operational processes within Starbucks, 3PL and other Suppliers
  • Facilitate the reporting of regular data flows and trend analysis with recommended action plans and owners across all BU’s
  • Maintain an accurate delivery schedule (ODS) within the Starbucks WMS
  • Carry out operational audits within 3PL and within Starbucks
  • Ensure total alignment on any changing business need relating to product launch/ campaigns/new stores to deliver right first-time service
  • Run daily operational service meetings with 3PL and ensure actions are followed up on by all stakeholders
  • Support/deputize for the Senior Logistics Analyst with respect to 3PL interface
  • Analyze logistics operations KPI and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Participate in cross functional projects to deliver collaborative results (reduce costs to serve, improve service to customers
  • Monitor and ensure constant inventory alignment between Starbucks and 3PL systems

We’ll look to you to bring your experience, knowledge and passion in the following:

  • Previous logistics experience
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders effectively
  • Experience in retail and shelf-life controlled operations.
  • Can work under limited supervision for routine situations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and detail orientated skills
  • Result and solution driven approach to work
  • Ability to build relationships and to influence
  • Customer-focused with a strong culture of service
