Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Logistics Analyst your role will be to execute logistics plans for the delivery and distribution of finished products and ensure product arrives complete, on time and in a cost effective manner. You will also maintain appropriate records, prepare reports and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related field, or equivalent education and experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Three years experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain or related field

Responsibilities:

  • Providing frontline support for daily logistics operations, resolving issues and ensures on time delivery of products
  • Participating in development and implementation of logistics plans affecting the delivery and distribution of finished products
  • Identifying and analyzing root causes of issues and working with logistics partners to develop solutions and performance improvement measures
  • Cultivating relationships with other departments to understand their customers needs and propoinge ideas to exceed expectations
  • Documenting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as needed
  • Maintaining department shipment data and records, running monthly report, identifiying trends and opportunities for cost savings
  • Performing other duties as assigned
