Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • To control and track inbound and outbound shipments locally and internationally.
  • To coordinate shipments pickups and deliveries and control relevant shipping documents.
  • To monitor suppliers’ performance and follow up on relevant information such as quotations, POs, lead times, tracking details, invoices, etc.
  • To identify potential suppliers and administer the supplier addition process.
  • To communicate with customers effectively and address their needs related to outbound shipments.
  • To handle needed approvals and government documents required for clearance of shipments including SABER, Duty Exemptions, Border Authorization, FASH, Bayan, etc.
  • To perform and coordinate ERP shipping transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To build networks, communicate effectively, and direct work with interested parties such as freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, service providers, etc.
  • To measure and monitor relevant KPIs and pursue continuous improvement.
  • To lead internal meetings related to in transit shipments effectively.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to achieve intended results.
  • To contribute in lean transformation effort.To adhere to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and policies.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics or other related fields.
  • At least 2 years of Relevant experience in logistics.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • ERP System (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • English language proficiency (written/read/spoken).
  • Knowledge of Saudi customs and shipping regulations
