Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst I to join our Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) team. The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25,000 vehicles including the Army’s Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs.
Important Note: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 90 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
- Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferable.
- Preferably familiar or knowledgeable with MRAP/RCV systems.
- Willingness to travel to hostile areas is desired.
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
- Willingness to deploy to all/any of these locations, including Southwest Asia and South-Central Asia.
- Some OCONUS deployments may be to risky hostile ("war zone") environments which earn larger bonuses.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a (DoD) Public Trust clearance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
Required Qualifications:
- Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered.
- Three (3) years’ experience and a BA/BS degree (OR) 7+ years or related work experience.
- Experience in STAMIS or GCSS or commercial LMIS.
- Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts.
- Experience in inventory and requisition supplies and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Possession of a valid European or German driver’s license is required (OR) the ability to obtain a valid driving license before beginning employment
Responsibilities:
- Develops and presents training programs for customers and in-house employees.
- Coordinates with sales, marketing, and engineering to identify program needs, obtains technical data and schedules programs.
- Trains trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training presentations.
- Conducts training programs on topics and designs and helps to develop training program elements and modules.
- Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions.
- Record, maintain and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Packing, shipping, receiving, transportation of parts, items, and equipment.
- Reports to Senior Logistician or Supply Supervisor.
