Description:
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required :
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Effective team skills to work across all related departments or functions that has direct or indirect impact to area of work
- Good knowledge of logistics, warehouse or supply chain.
- MS office proficient (Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Teams, Access, Visio, Powerpoint, Word)
- Competent problem-solving, writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a self-governing environment.
- With background on project management, planning and resource deployment
- Ability to multitas
Responsibilities:
- Develops Logistics methods, updates existing documented processes/procedures and monitors timely completion until approval.
- Analyzes business workflows and recommendations from internal customer’s survey to improve efficiency
- Writes or revises standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
- Monitors industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
- Maintain logistics records in accordance with corporate policies and trade compliance requirements.
- Provides support during physical inventory and take the lead on variances/discrepancy resolution
- Assesses logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit study.
- Prepares and analyzes reports of logistics daily/weekly/monthly performance.
- Apply sound methods or tools to understand, anticipate, or control logistics operations or processes.
- Measures warehouse overall reporting metrics, analyze trend to identify irregularities and provide recommendation to resolve issue with corresponding timeline to recover
- Monitors warehouse storage and coordinates with planner on aged inventory to maintain utilize space within set goal and comply with 5S/Safety requirements. Monitor inventory transactions at warehouse facilities to assess receiving, storage, shipping, or inventory integrity.
- Identify opportunities for inventory reductions and inventory optimization through the study of part usage trend and inventory age
- Initiates investigation on any issues/problem encountered in warehouse operations to provide quality incident report, identify root cause, provide solutions and process control analysis.
- Conducts monthly risk impact assessment, checks overall process efficiency and compliance through conducting Mock Audit/Gemba 5S as preparation to internal/external process audit
