Logistics and Procurement Officer, NCA Sudan, Al-Gadaref

NCA has been working in Sudan since 1972 and in Darfur since 2004, and Al-Gadaref since 2020 in close collaboration with local governmental ministries and HAC bringing together a wide array of expertise. NCA is aiming at providing support to the most vulnerable through humanitarian, long term, and advocacy projects. NCA’s focus areas on Al-Gadaref Program, Sudan are WASH, Gender - Based Violence.
The position is only for Sudanese nationals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 – 3 years relevant and proven professional experience with procurement and logistics in humanitarian contexts, preferably in management positions.
• Relevant degree.
• Proven experience in conducting trainings and capacity development.
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Culture-sensitive with excellent cooperation skills – we are looking for a team player!

LOGISTICS TASKS

• Asset management: ensure the asset registry is kept up to date, undertake regular checks, manage asset disposal.
• Fleet management: manage drivers, fuel management and reporting and ensure fuel tracker is obtain for the vehicle and the Generator, managing vehicles maintenance planning and renewing the insurance and registration, and vehicles disposal, ensuring good movement planning and safe driving practises.
• Transport of goods: from Al-Gadaref to IDPs Camps and other NCA offices.
• Warehouse: managing stock and obtain the stock & bin card and prepare and circulate the stock report to relevant staff
