Your Qualifications:

  • Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a shop/yard laborer preferred. Forklift/skid steer experience and towing trailers are a plus!
  • Legally Entitled to Work in Canada: A valid work permit may be required

Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Assistant at Roska DBO Inc., you will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring the smooth operation and support of our entire organization. Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, you will tackle a variety of tasks both indoors and outdoors, making each day unique and exciting. From maintaining our facilities to assisting with events, your contributions will play a vital role in our success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Keep It Clean & Green: Take charge of general cleaning of our shop, yard, parking lots, and ditches. Show off your landscaping skills by mowing grass and using a weed eater.
  • Winter Warrior: Embrace all seasons by snow blowing and shoveling snow from sidewalks, doorways, and crew houses.
  • Detail-Oriented: Showcase your attention to detail with vehicle detailing and changing seat covers.
  • Logistics Pro: Position truck tool boxes, pick up safety equipment and parts around Grande Prairie, and occasionally deliver vehicles out of town.
  • Event Enthusiast: Assist with exciting events, including preparation and setup for BBQs, tents, and more.
  • Versatile Worker: Handle trailers, conduct hot shots to work sites, and perform minor repairs and maintenance for our shop, office, and vehicles.

What You Bring:

  • Safety First: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  • Physical Strength: Be in top physical condition with the strength and stamina to handle heavy tools and parts weighing up to 25 kilograms.
  • Organized & Efficient: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within tight schedules.
  • Mechanical Savvy: A knack for mechanics and the ability to perform minor repairs.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and listening skills.
  • Resilient: Ability to stand for long periods, perform moderately heavy lifting, and work efficiently in a noisy environment.
