We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth movement and receipt of works orders, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting continuous improvement activities within our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Works Order Movement:
Ensure timely transfer of products between machining cells.
Maintain a regular beat rate for product movement, ensuring cells are emptied and replenished every 2 hours.
Deliver inbound commercial items to the appropriate staff or departments.
Minimize paper delivery to departmental functions.
Works Order Receipt:
Process the receipt of machined parts, including closing work orders on the business system.
Pack parts to prevent corrosion and damage.
Label parts and transfer them to stock locations.
Vac Forming and Washing Transportation Boxes.
Create new inserts for boxes and replenish them on the shop floor.
Clean transportation boxes and replenish them on the shop floor.
Maintain inventory levels of boxes and inserts.
General Duties:
Ensure compliance with current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Maintain a clean and tidy workplace following 5S principles.
Interact with material controllers and production staff on daily priorities and issues.
Accurately record all stock movements.
