EXPERIENCE AND DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• 3+ years’ experience of working in a logistics/export environment.
• Minimum A level educated or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft package such as Excel and Word
• Knowledge of export documentation is desirable.
• Experience of working with logistics and transport companies is a plus.
• A customer focused approach to work whilst being self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong numerical, organisational & communication skills with fluency in English
• Team focused, able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others and an understanding of cultural differences resulting from working in an international environment.
• Capable of contributing to logistics improvement initiatives

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Logistics Co-Ordinator to join our growing business, where you will be responsible for the provision of logistics excellence through delivery of goods to our customers on time.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role you will work to assist and support the wider team to achieve Zotefoams’ on time delivery target. You will do this by working closely with the customer service team to ensure customers’ requirements are fulfilled within agreed operational lead times. In addition, you will ensure all relevant dispatch and customs paperwork complies with current regulations and issuing picking lists and driver paperwork to dispatch.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Managing transport bookings in a timely and cost-effective manner, maximizing load efficiency and proactively drive for logistics improvement opportunities.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders where you will actively participate in team meetings.
• Encourage and maintain information exchange between the LC and internal departments such as QA, Planning, Customer Service, Finance and Dispatch.
• Provide regular KPI reporting to track progress against target to improve performance in the function.
• Undertake any other duties as required from time to time, commensurate with the role.
