YOUR SKILLS

  • Degree qualified in Supply Chain or a comparable degree; At least 7 years’ experience in Logistics Management ideally in FMCG/Retail industry
  • Experience in Logistics management of 3rd party warehouse providers, carriers and freight forwarders
  • Proven experience in project management and leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills; Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and cost controlling abilities; Highly proficient in Excel
  • Experience with Logistics Management in SAP (highly regarded)
  • Sound communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of the logistics network for process improvement, cost saving, and service enhancement opportunities
  • Drive logistics excellence process and systems initiatives in conjunction with global COE
  • Identify, develop, and deliver productivity initiatives using Lean methodologies to improve operational and financial performance
  • Ensure that projects are delivered as per expectation through rigorous follow up and deadline tracking; Analysis of operational metrics and providing timely reporting and process improvement initiatives based on findings
  • Monitoring of logistics service providers operational and cost performance; Control and approve 3PLs invoices
  • Support the Logistics Manager to develop, manage and deliver the logistics operations budget; Support Logistics tenders and suppliers’ selection
  • Deputy of Logistics manager for decision on critical operational issues
