YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in continuous improvement, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Willingnessto travel and work flexible hours if required.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

The Logistics Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and supply chain operations. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and driving business growth through the implementation of best practices and process improvements. Additionally, the role emphasizes production stability, cost savings, and sustainability. This position requires an individual to maintain a robust customer presence and consistently foster effective collaboration.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with the customer‘s strategic goals.
  • Analyze and understand logistics processes, identifying areas of waste or inefficiency.
  • In collaboration with the customer, develop and execute improvement strategies, including change management activities.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams to drive process improvements.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct continuous improvement training and workshops for staff at all levels.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members on process improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting systems to track the progress of improvement initiatives.
  • Present progress reports and performance data to senior management.
  • Use a range of tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen to drive process improvements.
  • Work closely with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Focus on maintaining production stability by identifying and mitigating potential disruptions.
  • Implement cost-saving measures to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Develop and promote sustainable practices within logistics operations to minimize environmental impact.
