Description:

UK REMOTE/HYBRID - THERE WILL BE REGULAR TRAVEL REQUIRED (1-2 TIMES A WEEK) ON A UK-WIDE BASIS TO OUR DEPOTS WITH SOME OVERNIGHT STAYS DEPENDING ON SITE LOCATION.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Contract and Performance Analyst to support our Third-Party Supplier & Contracts team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing and driving insightful reporting and analysis to safeguard Co-op’s assets and enhance management decision-making.
You’ll provide regular management information and ad-hoc reports to key stakeholders, proactively engage with colleagues to resolve issues, and manage the calculation and processing of accounting journals. If you have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for logistics, then apply now.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Report regularly to the business key management information and insights across a range of KPIs.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis on an ongoing basis to assist the business in understanding financial performance and reasons underlying any deviations from the financial plan.
  • Calculate and process third party commission payments and provide supporting management information, reviewing and raising PO’s for the accounts that you support.
  • Assist in the production of financial forecasts and Strategic planning
  • Calculate and post accounting month end journals.
  • Provide budget models for 3rd party service providers, ensuring to work closely with their finance teams.
  • Review continuous improvement pipeline, with financial appraisal of PID delivery, providing updates to internal stakeholders.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE

  • An analytical background with the ability to analyse various forms of large data sets in the likes of Excel and produce relatable insight to support decision making.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills across finance and non-finance teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
