Description:
- We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Logistics Control Officers to join our logistics team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire logistics process, including inventory control, shipment tracking, and coordination with suppliers and transporters.
- The ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, experience in logistics, and the ability to work under pressure.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of logistics and inventory management principles, as well as regulatory requirements related to logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee and manage the entire logistics process, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are kept within the required limits and replenished as necessary.
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. Resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key logistics partners.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control logistics costs, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the logistics process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Documentation: Ensure that all logistics activities are documented properly, including shipping orders, delivery notes, and customs paperwork. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Compliance: Ensure that all logistics activities comply with local and international regulations, including customs regulations, import/export laws, and health and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales, warehouse) to align logistics activities with overall business objectives.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on logistics activities, including inventory levels, shipment status, and cost analyses.
