Description:

I am delighetd to bring this exciting opportunity to market. I am looking for an experienced Logistics Coordiantor to join my reputbale Dublin based client. The ideal candidate will have excellent geographical knowledge of Ireland and exceptional route planning skills.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Food Safety Level 1

Responsibilities:

  • To provide accurate administration and record keeping within our Logistics Dept.
  • Compliance to Company procedures / Policies and legislative requirements.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with current GDP guidelines for Drug products and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.
  • Ensuring compliance with Food Safety / BRC requirements.
  • To operate within Transport Budget.
  • To work flexibly within team structure.
  • To schedule fleet & contracted haulage effectively to meet both service, fleet Utilisation and cost objectives.
  • To ensure maximum fleet utilisation when route planning & exporting / importing for contracted haulage.
  • To organise & control all contracted haulage and reduce contracted haulage cost so far as possible.
  • To communicate effectively with both internal & external customers.
  • Compliance with all Transportation legal requirements relating to transportation by Road, Sea & Air. Also, compliance with all Quality, EHS, insurance requirements, and GDP / Food Safety requirements.
  • To report accidents, incident and near misses as per company policy / procedures.
  • To ensure good housekeeping within the logistics department, both internal workstations & vehicles.
  • To confirm delivery of orders dispatched / received is carried out in timeframe required.
  • To operate new technology and systems as required.
  • To ensure fleet service & maintenance is completed as required.
  • Ensure driver daily debriefs are completed and records kept on file.
  • Conduct weekly vehicle inspections and ensure records are in place and any corrective actions required are completed.
