· Cartage division with 5-ton trucks all with tailgates to handle LTL
· Trailer division to handle FL freight
· Overnight division for less time sensitive deliveries
· Rush division for time critical deliveries

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Transportation and Supply Chain management with a focus on the Retail deliveries. EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Transportation Management Systems
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare appropriate paperwork for shipping, including BOL’s, POD’s, customs forms, and invoices
  • Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
  • Receive requests for assistance or service; contact appropriate parties
  • Order creation and data entry using TMS and WMS
  • Support the warehouse floor on an as needed basis to perform scanning
  • Monitor claims for key Retail and Transportation accounts
  • Daily communication, with customers via email and telephone that provides support, problem solving and delivery updates
  • Use customer portals on a daily basis for delivery tracking and updates, upload/ request documentation, generate tracking numbers, send alerts
  • Any other tasks as assigned
