BAM Nuttall have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join the KierBAM Joint Venture on the Hinkley Point C Project. Kier and BAM Nuttall are working together to deliver earthworks, site preparation, and infrastructure for this significant project.
The Logistics Coordinator will support the project by managing site deliveries, stores, temporary buildings, and general logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience in site logistics, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage deliveries to the site, including liaising with hauliers and suppliers.
  • Oversee the on-site booking systems (DMS) and train staff in its correct operation.
  • Ensure all site personnel, hauliers, and suppliers are informed of and comply with site restrictions and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and control all site vehicles, including servicing and maintenance schedules.
  • Manage the site stores, ensuring all materials and equipment are correctly ordered and stored.
  • Supervise store personnel to maintain compliance with site requirements.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and stock levels for construction materials and tools.
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of temporary buildings and accommodation around work areas.
  • Manage the coordination of general support staff, including store personnel and cleaning staff.
  • Oversee plant and equipment coordination for non-production-related activities.
  • Manage and coordinate the disposal of waste, including skips, liquid waste, and hazardous materials (COSHH).
  • Actively contribute to safety initiatives and demonstrate a personal commitment to site safety.
  • Implement measures to minimise potential environmental impacts and ensure compliance with site safety protocols
