We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics procedures, tracking shipments and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the supply chain.
• Manage inventory levels, placing orders to maintain optimal stock levels while avoiding overstocking.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize freight costs and delivery schedules.
• Handle the preparation of shipping documents, including invoices, customs declarations, and bills of lading.
• Use logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track shipments, manage inventory, and produce reports.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all logistics activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to arrange transportation and negotiate rates when necessary.
• Resolve any issues related to transportation delays, damaged goods, or delivery discrepancies, working with relevant stakeholders to provide timely solutions.
• Help implement risk management protocols to anticipate disruptions and ensure continuity of operations, minimizing risks associated with supply chain vulnerabilities and aiding with supply chain resilience.
• Stay up to date on logistics and transportation trends to continuously improve processes and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist in planning and coordinating logistics for special projects, promotional events, and high-volume periods.
• Support the operations and logistics teams as required, managing tasks and workflow efficiently.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple logistics operations simultaneously.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as ZOHO Books
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, transportation modes, and shipping regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and the ability to track and manage inventory, orders, and shipments accurately.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving logistics issues.
• Crisis management skills, adaptability, and resilience for handling emergencies or unexpected disruptions effectively, ensuring that logistics operations continue smoothly under various scenarios.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data analysis and the ability to generate reports and insights from logistics data.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in logistics, including international shipping requirements.
• Knowledge of cost control and budgeting in logistics operations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per mont
