LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our growing Supply Chain Team.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all logistical operations to ensure the efficient transportation and delivery of goods. The role involves managing the entire supply chain process, from order placement to final delivery, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with various departments, suppliers, and customers to optimise workflow and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Order Management:
  • Process and track orders ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to coordinate order details and resolve any issues.
  • Transportation Coordination:
  • Arrange and monitor the transportation of goods, including selecting appropriate carriers and routes to minimize costs and delivery times.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with local and international regulations, including customs documentation and import/export laws.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Prepare and manage shipping and delivery documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and any changes to their orders.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities, including shipment tracking, inventory levels, and carrier performance.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance logistics operations.
