Description:

As our Logistics Development Manager you will be responsible for managing all technical & process-driven projects relating to the logistics function. You will build analytical tools to automate processes, dashboards and data checks with the goal of creating value for the logistics team. You will be responsible for the continuous development of our systems, tooling and data to enable the function locally & globally to achieve our ambitious Logistics roadmap. This role’s biggest priority is to identify development opportunities that enhance our technical capabilities through automation, tools and data access.
Reporting into the Senior Logistics Manager, this role will ensure that the wider team and logs roadmap is considered in any new technical and system-related business initiatives, managing the communications within the team, addressing concerns and presenting these back to the wider business if necessary. The role partners multiple stakeholders including Distribution, 3PL, Production, Special Operations and Global Logistics

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Logistics Manager on scoping the logistics roadmap by actively engaging with operational teams to identify opportunities for technical/process/data improvement
  • Own key technical logistics projects from conception through to execution
  • Create data-driven business cases for potential improvements and deliver presentations to the senior leadership team
  • Own and maintain key internal logistics systems and manage relationships with external technical providers
  • Work closely with Data Engineering team and Global Supply Chain tech team to drive automation within the Logistics department
  • Build and maintain analytical tools which automate processes, dashboards, alerting functionalities (data checks) and other technical tools, following best practices
  • Collaborate internally, cross-functionally and internationally (when relevant) to share best practices and learnings
  • Act as a data/SQL expert within the wider logistics team, possessing strong querying skills & knowledge of the HelloFresh data warehouse
