Job Description:

Education and Experience

• Must have 4-6 years experience in logistics sourcing and procurement and logistics & transportation
• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in logistics, business, supply chain, sourcing
• English and German language skills (C1), any additional languages are an asse

• Collaborative working style; must be able to work across various departments within the organization.
• Can cope with ambiguity
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Good negotiation and analytical skills.
• Eager to learn, can work in a fast-paced environment and works independently with handling multiple tasks at the same time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage strategic, country-based logistics sourcing activities and support strategic EMEA logistics sourcing activities to improve overall cost and performance
• Manage supplier base to ensure supplier continuity, service, quality; leverage supplier base through collaboration
• Negotiate master and service level agreements,
• Lead or support supplier performance reviews
• Manage and negotiate rates for current and new lanes and maintain records
• Oversee and optimize cost base, track and report cost deviations versus budget
• Identify and implement cost & process optimization initiatives in alignment with operations, sales and other functions
• Keep abreast with market trends and support budget creation
• Participate in country specific, cross-functional sales/operations meetings as required
• Carrier master data management, new carrier onboarding and systems administration
• Performs other duties as assigned

This role is remote/hybrid and in the EU only. Some travel will be expected (less than 20%)
