Description:
Our Client is a TV, Firming Service MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Logistics Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.
Responsibility
- Manage all activities and communications related to project shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.
- Follow standard procedures and complete necessary legal and administrative formalities for third-party hires.
- Inform internal teams of shipment timelines for effective planning and deadline adherence.
- Assist the Sales Team with freight estimates for quotations.
- Analyze and determine logistics budgets to meet project needs.
- Work with the Finance Department to secure budget approvals and complete documentation.
- Ensure high accuracy in logistics documentation.
- Optimize service quality and pricing for logistics activities.
- Ensure timely equipment receipt by coordinating with freight forwarders and addressing any issues.
- Build strong relationships with other departments.
- Assist with sourcing, negotiation, cost management, quality, and delivery terms. Manage procurement and rental of external resources.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers for optimal pricing and support.
- Develop and enhance SOPs for logistics and procurement.
- Support the implementation of goals and policies to enhance operations.
Requirement
- Min Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Min 5 years of working experience in managing logistics operations.
- Experience in Purchasing / Inventory/ Material/Logistic and Warehouse Management or equivalent.
- Supervisory experience will be added advantage
- Manage strategic plannings on movement of goods and equipment
- Knowledge in Permit declaration and custom clearance
