Be part of something transformative! Auctionet Logistics, the beating heart of Auctionets operations, is looking for a dynamic UK-based Logistics Manager to oversee our ambitious growth. With currently 500 shipments per week in the UK (compared to 5,000 in Sweden) but with long term potential of 50 000 weekly shipments, this role is key to scaling our success.
QUALIFICIATIONS
- At least 3 years of leadership experience within logistics.
- A background in Lean practices with demonstrated application of these methods.
- Experience in the auction industry and an interest in art and antiques are advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee lead times and performance of our UK logistics centers.
- Drive initiatives focused on sustainability and cost efficiency.
- Structure, negotiate, and monitor SLAs with suppliers.
- Implement lean initiatives and facilitate a high team engagement.
- Lead inclusively, fostering a positive team environment.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Forecast demand to strategically plan personnel, facilities, fleet, and supplier needs.
