REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of underground mining experience or previous experience operating heavy machinery.
  • HITE training preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to safely work 12 hour shifts in a variety of underground conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Experience with Logistics equipment an asset but not required.
  • Possess Ontario Common Core Certification.
  • Current and Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

We are seeking energetic, Underground Miners with a positive attitude, good attendance & safety record to join our Logistics team and contribute their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate Boom Truck for deliverables
  • Service installation – pipe, vent, cables & atomizers
  • Tele- Remote installations
  • Sump Maintenance (Scissor lift, 9 yard Scoop)
  • Road Maintenance (Grader, 3 Yard Scoop)
  • Conduct Pre and Post Blast activities
  • Install and grout cables
  • Be an engaged and active member of a highly productive team
  • Take direction from the Logistics Leaders and/or Underground Supervisors in a positive manner
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times
